Yes, it's safe - that's just a Joomla! hotfix ;)
- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.

Michal,
Thanks for letting me know. I ask this same question every time a new version of Joomla comes out and I ask because one time when I updated it, about 2.5 years ago, my site went down and you needed to fix it for me. So now I ask. It might not be a bad idea to sent out a JomSocial message when a new version of Joomla comes out, letting users know what version of JomSocial is compatible with the new released Joomla. Just a suggestion so you don't keep getting me asking you.
No problem. We have a saying in Poland: "Koniec jezyka za przewodnika"... what in free translation means "A tip of your tongue will be your guide" :)
I'll pass your suggestion to Project Lead ;)
