No, that is why you are there as Admin (administrator). It is your Site and Community so administer is as You find it suitable. reCaptcha is there to protect you from most spammers but some will pass that protection system. Just block those users so they cannot use same email to create new accounts and delete all their activities. There are spammers that will really visit your site (not use script or bot) and create account that will than use for spamming. Maybe even be active as regular user for some time and then at some point become spammers. Maybe someone managed to hijack account of your regular user and use it for spamming. There are lot of scenarios for spamming.
So the only IP blocking extension remains... or htaccess rules.

- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
