We have new Joomla installation with Joomla 3.8.2 and Jomsocial 4.5 and are in the setup process.
Multilanguage is enabled with english and german and is in general working fine as expected.
For JomSocial we have carefully followed the instructions in documentation.jomsocial.com/wiki/Complet...in_multilingual_mode
and this is also working fine with JomSocial - except on the JomSocial toolbar top menu.
The menu items are all still in english while they should be in german. All the other text is in german.
I have JomSocial toolbar menu for german, english and 'neutral' while for neutral I have the lowest ID's as per the multilanguage document.
Can you please check and explain what the issue is ?

It seems that you missed the point in documenatation.
You should have only ONE JomSocial Toolbar while menus for other languages.
Documentation nowhere says that you should have duplicate toolbar :)
You also missed "See also" part :)

- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.
- Use the "Thank You" feature on any post that helped you
you are absolutely right with your statement. I have now followed documentation.jomsocial.com/wiki/Translate_Toolbar and all is working as expected.
Next time I will need to thoroughly read the documentations before raising an issue ;-)
