ERROR WHEN VIEWING MEMBER PROFILES

Hello, my names is Joanne. When I try to view my member profiles I receive the following error: Class only available on Joomla 1.6 This locks me out so I cannot see the information.

Please let me know how to correct this problem. Thanks...

Just upgrade to latest JomSocial version and this will be fixed.


- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

- Use the "Thank You" feature on any post that helped you

Hi Michal,

Thanks for your response. I am currently running JomSocial 4.2.6. I started receiving this error Class only available on Joomla 1.6 In October 2016. I am not sure what version you are referring to. When I go to Tools, Update it says we are at the current version. This is a major problem.

Please advise.

The best way to change what latest version is available is our change log: www.jomsocial.com/features/changelog
So latest version is 4.5.
After you install it you'll be noticed by Joomla! that new version was released and be able to update straight away - just enter license key in JomSocial configuration.

Now, download latest version here: www.jomsocial.com/component/digistore/licenses?Itemid=209
And install it manually on top of your existing version.
