JomSocial Active Socialize Active

Hello,
I've started over & completely reinstalled Joomla, JomSocial & Socialize. However, it's not clear to me whether I configure the modules in JomSocial or Socialize. Sorry for the basic question, but I want to get it right :)

Hi, Karen.

Thank you for contacting us.
Modules are kind of small apps that display something. They are listed in Joomla! Backend -> Extensions -> Modules.
Then they are displayed in template in special positions.
Those positions are available usually in templates (like in Socialize), but JomSocial also allow you to nest modules:
documentation.jomsocial.com/wiki/Built-in_Module_Positions

But always you'll configure them in Joomla extensions/modules list.

- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

- Use the "Thank You" feature on any post that helped you
