I just updated lifesite JS3.6 + JS4.3.x to JS3.8 + JS4.4.4.
I visited "Database Tools" section, but there is nothing to convert (everything is "Already converted").
1) when I click on "envelope" icon at "JS Notification" module, it display modal window with infinity load gif animation.

2) when I open "envelope" icon at "JS Notification" module in blank window (link: 2018.crimson-land.ru/community/chat ), I can see:

This is your inbox
Conversations will start showing here once you have your first chat with someone. You can start a conversation with your friends any time.
Please add some friends before you can make new conversations.

but user allready has some old conversation.

Can you please anounce fix date?
Right now chat problem (old messages disappear after update) is the only one reason why I can't update lifesite to JS4.4.4.

As I mentioned: after update from JS4.3 to 4.4.4 "Database Tools" section says is nothing to convert (everything is "Already converted").

What will be happen If I will update life site to 4.4.4 right now? Will be dissapeared messages restored after fix (4.4.5)?

Hello. I applayed this fix for JS Notification module and now I can see message "There is no new private messages":

But there is no "View all messages" button.

Also, like I mentioned, old messages disappear after update (and DB tables are "Already converted" but I didn';t converted it manualy).
Is it possible to restore old messages?

For now, you can click view all message from chat menu.

Do you mean wanna restore the old message into old message table? Please explain more.

Hi,

1. WIll be improved on next release
2. "Database Tools" is not related with chat migration, that is for fixing the old database stucuture.. For this you still need run cron job to migrate old message to chat
