Hello,
if I create a subdomain for jomsocial, can I see subscribers and events on the main domain?
Thank you
Hi, Lafranco.
Thank you for contacting us.
If Joomla A in on main domain and Joomla B (with JomSocial) in on subdomain, then no, nor Joomla! nor JomSocial will transfer data to Joomla A.
You need somekind of multidomains extension for Joomla. E.:
extensions.joomla.org/extension/mightysites/
extensions.joomla.org/extension/virtual-domains/
But we can't gauarentee that they will work for JomSocial.
I have many problems. The first, if you login from home, does not always get access to Joomsocuial, then if you log out from Joomsocial, you do not always get the site. Then the 0/1 logout pulse does not work (if I can explain what it is)
But in reality, there are so many things I can not make it work as they should
Hi, Lafranco.
We'll be happy to help you but you need to explain the issue to us. Saying just "there are so many things I can not make it work as they should" doesn't help at all as we still don't know what is the issue. And how we can fix something that we don't know?
So please:
1. Open new thread for each issue
2. Click switch below main text field:
prntscr.com/fk3hdg
3. Provide your site details: backend URL, admin credentials and FTP:
prntscr.com/fk3hwz
4. Let us know that you provided credentials by posting in the same thread.
Not all issues could be caused by JomSocial but all need to be investigated.
About cron job I followed the instructions during the joomsocial installation, which involved an installation to be downloaded, but I did not find it. Can you give me more information?
