I would like to change the friendship request in simple follow up, so no approval by the user who chooses to have a public account. Can someone help me?

You're asking for totally new feature. This won't be rather an "one-liner" but a huge customization of JS core.
Core hacks are not recommended nor supported as they may not working with future JomSocial releases and/or cause issues that won't be not supported. Users with core files hack often refuse to upgrade their installation to keep those hacks and they are stuck with outdated and unsupported versions. Also, core hack will be overwritten during upgrade.
But yes, you may always hire own developer and implement that feature.

No, I'm sorry this can't be done.
In most cases users want to choose who will be their friends - so changing this into autoapprove will rather won't make users happy :/
You may customize that on your site if you need that feature.

For the kind of social I'm creating, there is no need to approve a friendship, otherwise users would be bothered to submit a request to view content of their interest. It seems odd to me that such banality is not present in this social.
For the record I have already purchased your software, I do not understand why you changed the topic into pre-sales category.

Please, find at least ONE social platform where you don't have to approve friend requests :)
Imagine that you post on you stream things that you want to be seen only by people you know.
And now everyone who send friend request become your "friend" and have access to this content.
Nope, sorry, we choose who our friends are - not opposite.
Maybe in your project you need that as it may be specific. Then you need to implement it on your site on your own... sorry.
