Menu items weird behaviour

I'm having a problem after last upgrade of JS to 4.1 in our site: www.gia-consultores.com/clientes

Menu item have changed after last upgrade and now profile item when I'm doing click over it visitor is addressed to the section "change the picture". It's happening the same issue afterward doing click on the register buttom.

To make long story short: JomSocial needs a frontpage menu item (the best option is if it has the lowest menu item ID). So I created a hidden menu and frontpage menu item. Now profile works as it should.


- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

- Use the "Thank You" feature on any post that helped you

I realized the Activity stream is not showing. How can I enable again to display on the frontpage?

Hi, Gonzalo.

Please, try to check this issue under Joomla! default template Protostar.
You removed it so you'll need to restore it.
Download latest package of Joomla!
Unzip.
Upload Protostar template folder to your ROOT/templates folder.
Then browse to Backend -> Extensions -> Manage -> Discover and install template.
Then just switch to Protostar and check if issue persist.

Hi Micha!, Protostar's template was restored but activity stream still is not displaying

You restored Protostar but you didn't tested. Post box works perfectly under Protostar: prntscr.com/gcx611
But not your Gantry template: prntscr.com/gcx6n8
So that's obviously template issue, please, contact with template developers.

Hi Michal again!

I don't think so it was this the problem (activity stream works fine on the previous JS 4.0). Otherwise same framework template (Gantry) in other domain works fine (look at the screenshot)

It may be but new version implements new features... and new jQuery.
Anyway it's the template that displays whole site content and it should be done without any issues.
Please, contact template support so they could investigate as well.
Ask them to contact us directly in case of issues so we could cooperate.
