Hello, trying to make an upgrade from version 4.3.5 to 4.4 . but the issue is the upgrading process is stocked.

Update configuration Done
Create menu item Done
Create JomSocial toolbar Done
Add custom field Done
Upgrading database Done
Updating theme Waiting "

Please i need solution for this as i can not access the backend of my jomsocial website.

You need improve your server configuration, currently your server is not fit with Jomsocial needs, please check it..

Its too bad It cant be changed at the moment. I am using a shared host server and it would require me to pay for an upgrade. How do I go back to my previous version.

Your server need fit with jomsocial needs, or it wont work 100% or maybe cant be used, on newest version we improved some codes and you need tweak the server as well.

Please you upgrade your server to VPS, or shared hosting is not problem as long as the server is fit with our needs :)

OK thanks, but can I downgrade back to the previous version I was using before. Because right now I can't access the jomsocial backend on my website

yes you can, just install the old version to override the current code..

If you lost your old version you can get it from here www.jomsocial.com/download-old

Thanks, got stuck in the same process. This was working fine until I made the upgrade yesterday. Using the same server and nothing else have changed until yesterday upgrade.

Thank you, issue resolved. I noticed I was using the old php version so I updated it to php 5.6 . then everything start working perfectly well.
