hello, I received an email to renew for 30% disc. It says to login and then click "Renew" and the discount will be automatically calculated- however, prices remain the same as public prices (standard $99, pro $149)

30% off to renew and 40% off to upgrade...

well..it means that renewal is automatically discounted
If you want to upgrade from standard to pro, then he can with 40% discount but must use GOPRO promo code

That's a pretty poorly written email (or intentionally tricky)... I think most people would read that as:

"Renew your JomSocial plan with 30% OFF - just login and click renew, the renewal discount is auto applied." = as a standard member, when you log in and renew you get 30% off...

"Upgrade from Standard to Pro with 40% OFF. Use Coupon Code GOPRO " = Yes, this makes sense... what doesn't make sense is, what's the 30% OFF for?
