Are you at JomSocial familiar with the company Joomlashack?
Will JomSocial software work with templates that don't come from JomSocial?
If I decide to use a template from else where, will JomSocial Tech Support help me when I need help?
Most of joomla templates are working fine on jomsocial component, and if there is any js or css conflict on Joomshacks just let us know, we will try to help you :)
