Hello,

I own a forum ( www.bmwpassion.com/forum ) that uses vbulletin5 software.
I would like to install jomsocial, but is it possible to migrate the userID, password and email from vbulletin to jomsocial?

Thank you.

Hi Paolo,

By default this is not possible, but it can be done by using 3rd party www.plugins.de/plugin/jfusion/

But I suggest you change your forum to use Kunena instead use VBulletin, check this cms2cms.com/cms/planned-cms/vbulletin-to...la-kunena-migration/

thank you!

Ok thank you.
To change forum platform is not easy because vb is really different and the users are accustomed to it.

About the plugin to migrate the users account do you know also if it keep the accounts syncronized? After importing the account if an user change its password will it change also in jomsocial platform (or viceversa)?

Because I am not a developer can you make the work to migrate the accounts for me (using jfusion)?
