Receiving notification after admin approval

Hello,
After registration a user gets a welcome and a verification email.
After admin reviewing and approval user should get a notification email.Although user doesn't get it,only the first two emails.
Is there anything to set in the backend for making this working or is there another reason why it doesn't work ?

Thank you for contacting us.
I just tested this and it works perfectly on my test site (using latest version of Joomla! and JomSocial).
User is notified: prntscr.com/flhosh
Please, check if you confirmed user by clicking on URL in email and if last notification didn't land in spam box.


- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

Hai Michal,
It does work now because I activated the user via email.Probably activating a user via jomsocial component does not acvtivate the user fully and therefore does not send a email.It enables the user but you have to mannualy activate the user.
Why is that difference ?

Hi Mo,

That is our default behavior, to get email approved information admin should activate the new user from email, because the email to new user will be triggered if admin activated via email :) which this send trigger doesnt available on approval manually from backend
