I was reading your blog posts and noticed that you notified of a security issue in version 4.1.7 and a patch to resolve it. However you didn't state whether it affected previous versions of Jomsocial.
So, I need to know whether the affected installs include version 3.2.1.5 Pro so that if that's the case I know if I should buy Jomsocial again in order to upgrade because my jomsocial pro purchase expired.
What is your joomla version? Because the security issue is related with joomla version as well.
I suggest you update all technology to the latest version, it will be more safety for you, beside it we are preparing cool new features on next mayor version
My joomla installation is always updated as soon as they occur. However the Jomsocial subscription expired thus I need to pay to update which I don't see a reason to do so unless it is a security reason
