I am not 100% sure when this started, but we have a 'Category Blog' page that contains a few articles, at one point the 'Read More' links worked and went to the correct article, now they are just redirecting to the homepage. When I turn the SEF settings off, the Read More links work fine. However, I would like to keep the SEF on.
I have tried everything I have seen on other forums and nothing seems to help...from editing the .htaccess file, configuration.php file, deleting redirects that were in the Joomla redirect section, actually deleting ALL the articles and adding them back, deleting the menu item and adding a new back, tried disabling a few extensions that were install recently...
I have a 'Latest News' module on all the pages...those links work correctly.
When it redirects to the homepage the URL it has the item id of the menu item itself at the end...but nothing else:
www.websitename.com/component/community/?Itemid=165
Any suggestions how to fix this and what would be causing it?
Hi Randal,
This issue can be caused by menu configuration, maybe some menu already unpublished, would you mind provide me site url and backend access, please?
But before do this, please you upgrade your renewal the subscription first, so we can continue to help the issue.
thank you!
I am doing this on the behalf of the person who purchased your software. Should I log back in under their account for the support? Or could they provide me information that you would need to continue the support for this issue?
Hi,
Please you login as the purchased email members or provide me the lincese number on private information.
thank you!
I sent you a private message with the license number...however after I sent, it said it was marked as spam.
Were you able to retrieve my message I sent, even though it was marked as spam when it was sent?
You can put the lincense number via Private post when you reply this topic.
Here is what we think is the license number:
I sent the license number via private message.
Hi,
Sorry for delay answer, confirmed.. anyway I need your backend and FTP access to replicate the issue, I also need the screenshot of your issue, so I can understand this issue well
thank you!
I happened to think after I posted this that you may not be able to help...because the site isn't 'live' currently...it's only viewable by editing the Windows Hosts file.
If you are able to do this, I can also send you that information.
Hi,
it can be only server issue. the redirection seem caused by the URL not containing index.php
if you can put your site to "real server + domain", so I can inspecting your site and tackle this issue more faster.
and you can put credentials information by editing your first post at this topic. and put it at "Require help from Admin/Mod"
