Hello -my site warsoft.ie deals with airsofting and military simulation in ireland. I put a link up on facebook - announceing the launch of the site but the image it shows is a standard jomsocial picture of some lovely people relaxing. I can assure you the warsoft community has no lovely people in it!
I attach a screenshot of the facebook link - how can i change this image to something more in keeping with us uglies. I think this should be controlable from within the monitor /
Thank you for contacting us.
I know how "lovely" airsofters can be :) I'm a airsofter as well ;)
I have different result sharing your site URL:
snag.gy/10hLKm.jpg
It uses your community frontpage image. Could you try again?
- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.
- Use the "Thank You" feature on any post that helped you
Probably you tested sharing your site URL at FB before image was changed.
Then FB just cached it.
I used facebook debug tool and requested to scrap it again... it seems it helped ;)
