Hi I would just like to get a high level perspective on far joomsocial can support my business out of the box and then potentially with longer term development and a level of effort.
So here we go:
1) I see FB is heavily integrated for social sharing and promoting. But I cannot see the same level of investment for Instagram. Please confirm status
2) Registration. I would perhaps have 2/3 separate areas of mysite where the access is restricted to registered user only. Joomsocial being one. And I would also like there to be a single sign in process for all 2/3 areas once that user is registered. Is this supported in Joomsocial i.e the users credentials are taken from joomla and once the user has registered and sign in they will have access to joomsocial without signing in again. Please confirm. I am investigating useing JFConnect as well as standard joomla registration and login capability. Does using JF Connect change the user experience at all
3) Can you integrate joomla or other 3rd party modules into the joomsocial. For example, a list of clickable recent blog posts. And visa versa - Joomsocial modules into Joomla pages? Any restrictions?
4) My businesses is in the health and fitness market. I track my clients health date i.e calories burned. I accumulate the data gathered which is transferred into badges, awards and points based on specific achievements over time. I would like to incorporate badges, awards and points into the Joomsocial profile. Is there a 3rd party extension that creates these three elements based on data that I capture?

2. I confirm. While registering in JomSocial you also create user account in Joomla! (that's obligatory). Once having J! account you can access also other extensions.
3. JomSocial modules may be used on any Joomla! page - that's for modules are :) JomSocial is just another extension, it's displayed in Joomla! template - just assign modules on JS related pages or use built-in module positions.
4. You should try AlphaUserPoints extension, please, contact with their developer if you'll have further questions.
