Hello. My Joomla website uses smart search to index and search its content. I have found finder plugins for each of my extensions to include them in the results. I was wondering - does Jomsocial have a plugin like this so that I can integrate it with my site's smart search?

No, I'm sorry but this feature is not available due to privacy issues.
In past we started to develop Joomla! indexing search support but as users may set own access privileges - it was very hard to implement and respect display rights.
So it was pushed back.

But for latest JS version it doesn't respect privacy. So guest can see private discussion's title and introtext but can't access to full version.

I do not care about privacy so much because everything on our jomsocial is public.

I cannot tell from the translated version of that webpage if that plugin works for Smart Search or only for normal search?

Seems it can be used for normal search. Plugin stores files in «search» folder (not «finder») and has «search» type.
