Given the limitation on search functionality - on the demo, it appears search only returns other members, and doesn't search through content. Is it possible to leverage the greater search capabilities of Joomla to overcome this limitation?

Does JomSocial basically shut down all the rest of the Joomla functionality? Or can other modules be added that are compatible with JomSocial and are native to Joomla?

Hi Bill,

Thank you for contacting us..

For now we only have search members, for global content on Joomla is not possible, you need install 3rd party component for it

Jomsocial is depending Joomla, we use core Joomla freamwork and our Jomsocial modules are working fine with Joomla module, actually Jomsocial module = Joomla module :)

thank you
