we need to set up a social system where users are organized in large amount of circles (groups).
users can create/managee circles and invite others into these circles.
circles can be hierarchical ... e.g. if i am member of group "jomsocial" i am automatically member in parents "social-platform" and "joomla" and it's parent "cms".

it would be great if users see only people of the circles they are members in - not all worldwide users.
and if users can apply for membership in a circle.
is there any plugin that can handle this? if not - is it possible with a plugin to handle this?
