Hello. I would like to know if there is a soluiton to use Jomsocial with the widely used e-commerce "Prestashop" (
www.prestashop.com
)?
Strangely there is no "community" module at Prestashop!

Prestashop is a stand alone e-commerce application... a shopping cart. While JomSocial is an community extension for Joomla!. You can't use JomSocial in Prestashop as it's different application - you won't be able to install it... not to mention about using it. But you may use Joomla! along with Prestashop - there should be bridge extension to connect both.
IMHO Prestashop is rather not good solution for e-commerce from web developer point of view. Using smarty templates that renders in thousand files... tons of database entries... big and clumsy. You may find great shopping cart solutions for Joomla! and you'll have all system integrated into one - web site, shopping cart, community.
- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.
