Hi Jomsocial team,

I am curious about the "Implementation of Joomla! Smart Search" which was on the roadmap for version 4.1. What kind of functionality should come here? It is mentinoed that it got pushed back. Is there a new timline for this feature?

In general I am looking for some kind of combined (or overall) search which finds members as well as groups and is ideally configurable.

Well, like you see on that road map, we added flag "Pushed Back" so we didnt include it on version 4.1, because to make it was very complicated and we didnt have much time to make it happens.

Actaully, we wanted to create the global search, like we could search all content on Jomsocial, yes like you wanted to :)

For now I suggest you find another 3rd party component for this solution like this component
