Hello,

I've developed audio, video, chat, screen sharing, SMS and email functionality as a Joomla component. It is currently in alpha/beta version(!) and not tailormade as a generic add-on or plugin to Joomla yet, but can be in short time. A demo is available here:

I wonder if you might be interested in some kind of cooperation on this. I'm thinking that JomSocial and this communication functionality would be really powerful and competitive for any corporate intranet solution or social media site. To be honest I havent tried out JomSocial yet and wonder what it would take also for JomSocial to offer a pure corporate intranet solution, i.e. typically functionality for groups and calendar functionality in combination with wiki-text-pages, files + potentially the communication features mentioned above. I think there is a big market for offering pure intranet solutions in addition to social media sites!

- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.
