Hi,
I read on your blog you have a patch so i can see the backend of jomsocial again, but there is no way for me to download it? Can you email it to me? The thing is worthless without the ability to control it from the backend and there's no way im signing up for another subscription. all i do is go to the backend every day and delete every single comment there as they're all spam and jomsocial can't seem to spot any of it - even with akismet and the rest...
thanks
Thank you for contacting us.
I'm sorry but only users with active subscription may have access to upgrades and patches.
If you don't wont to renew your subscription the the only solution will be to roll back Joomla! upgrade to previous version (if you have a backup copy). Also you may hire a professional developer to help you with that issue. I'm really sorry but that's all I can advise.
Renewing subscription would be a good idea as you'll have access to support and upgrades. Just browse here:
www.jomsocial.com/component/digistore/licenses
choose your renewal plan and click "Renew" button. renewals are discounted -33% for 5 months and -40% for 1 year.
- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.
- Use the "Thank You" feature on any post that helped you
