Is there an importer to import Easysocial content to Jomsocial or a paid service?

And also, a paid service for migrating Shika (by techjoomla) for Guru?

Having an issue with the quality of software, level of support, and overall dissatisfaction with our Shika (only offers easysocial integration) choice for a production site. Used RT + Shika + Easysocial, but if switching to Shika we'll most likely have to switch to Jomsocial since your team probably doesn't offer support for competitor products...

HI,

Thank you for contacting us and interesting in our product.
I'm sorry to say that but unfortunately we there is no migration script available.
Also we can't support migration from 3rd party extensions.
But... there is a chance to migrate at least some user data between sites (if you install JS on the same site then basic data from J! account will be shared anyway - users will just need to update their profiles... and all content will be lost).

If there is possibility to export uaser data from EasySocial to CSV - you may use this extension to import it to JS: extensions.joomla.org/extension/jomsocial-user-import-export (please, contact with extension developer if you'll have further question).

As for Shika and Guru - I afraid that you'll need to add your course data once again in Guru as there is no migration script for that.

Or you may try to write migrator yourself - in that case we could support you by explaining database structure (which is a bit complicated, especially for Guru). But all php scripts you'll need to create on your own.

- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

- Use the "Thank You" feature on any post that helped you
