Hello I want to develop a site only for groups, without the user option of Friends, add friend, etc.
Unlike Facebook, this site is not a network of friends, but a creator of groups formed by people with common interests; so you will not find the option to search for people or users and you cannot send or receive friend requests, all the action takes place within groups; and these can be open (they appear listed at the beginning, you can make specific searches according to your interests and ask for affiliating) or closed in which case the group will not be listed and you need an direct invitation from the administrator to affiliating.
Can I create this with JomSocial?

Yes, generally this could be achieved but may be not easy as it seems.
JomSocial was designed with a lot of member/friends feature.
They can't be disabled with a a single switch.
So you'll need to hack some php files and hide certain features in code.
This can be done if you have php skills, if not - you'll need a professional developer help.
Please, note that we couldn't help you with so extended customizations, so it's highly recommended that you'll have own developer to help you with.

- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
