This is still not a good method of contact some questions are best not shared with the world certainly cheaper than taking individual calls but anyway.
A few years ago I Purchase a license and found there where nothing but problems, also seemed like because of quirks and issues in the system I could not get anything solved so I took our clients over to another social program. But it is also lacking everything I need so I may make a change back again. Even though your in a business eating so you sell your expertise in can understand that but way is it my time is worth 500 to 800 dollars and hour and has been for many years, why I should pay you something and get no support and use dozens of hours fixing your script. Not that your general idea is a bad one but just curious on why I should trust you all now and come back? have you improved your quality of service in the last 5 or 8 years. I would gladly come back if I can get some assurances. Also it seems like there had been complains posted from many people before about pour service so it was just not me. Even Joomla at one time had a problem with you. I just don't want to spend money and get nothing in return you can understand that I hope.

Thanks for contacting us. We have made many advances in product features, support and quality of our products. As you raise many issues and are asking for "assurances" the best way i can answer that is:

Jomsocial has a demonstration site running and the product is available for everyone to try at demo.jomsocial.com It is an exact demonstration of the JomSocial product. I would recommend using it, trying all features including the backend of the product as an administrator. If there is any features or issues you find whilst using the demonstration site, it will be exactly the same as what you will experience once you purchase.

With this in mind, should you need to make modifications to the product, customise it in any way, it would need to be done by yourself or a developer as we do not provide any kind of customisation services. We are also unable to build a product that has 100% of what every user wants, that would be unrealistic.

The sheer scale and size of our component means that from time to time users will find bugs. This is something that happens in everything that is made by humans, because we are not perfect. :) We do our best to keep it to a minimum and we fix the bugs that are reported as fast as possible.

To summarize: If for any reason you feel the features you see on the demonstration site are not what you want, or you would not be able to accept minor bugs that are reported in the product, then i can only conclude that our product may not be the one for you. While i hope that is not the case, at JomSocial we don't want anyone to be given a false impression of what we offer. Great products at great prices with full transparency!

Thank you got your response of course and not getting anything a few years ago I was pleasantly surprised when I heard something. But have another concern. I decided to give it another try and see if my clients would go for it and when I went to pay for it I got nothing is this a picture of things to come, after all it look nice with a good feel on your demo site but if I can't get things to work with my 20 plus years experience, do most just have a problem and just leave without saying anything with a few success to point at. Is this going to be an omen of things to come. I have 6 community sites plus many more web stores I administer and I wouldn't mind so much for me but I have to satisfy several other people that pay me for services to do a job for them, but I like the overall workability of smf and joomla would prefer not to use CB editing dolphin has been no fun so would like to come back but not to a headache.

I think that good solution ill be to give a JomSocial a try. If you have few communities - try with one first.
Most of issues are caused by conflicts with 3rd party extensions or templates.
So you should be aware that starting a project.
Other may be lack of expected features or minor bugs.
Paul already mentioned it.
We never leave our users without nothing - there's always a solution. All we ask is a bit of patience and cooperation ;)

Last question; I want to experiment with it and will not go on the final domain address. Can I move it for free if I find it something I wish to have same basic server. Not the same domain maybe. One thing several years ago I moved it to a new server and found it would no longer work. Does these still occure.
