Remote ads do not work on chrome and edge

I have downloaded and installed version 6.0.6 - setup a zone and ad and tested it.

its working fine using the embed script on firefox, but not on other browsers - getting this error

Refused to execute script from '' because its MIME type ('text/html') is not executable, and strict MIME type checking is enabled.

trying the remote module does not work on any browser with the same error now on firefox

I would dearly love the test this component to the fullest before i will think of buying - R2350 is a lot of money hoping this will be fixed if i go pro...

Hi, Rudolf.

You're refering to iJoomla Guru?

I have downloaded and installed version 6.0.6 - setup a zone and ad and tested it.

That's interesting as we don't offer test or trial download version.
Where did you downloaded it?

- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.

- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.

Hi, Rudolf.

Ah, sorry - I was thinking about AdAgency but I wrote "Guru".
AdAgency Lite doesn't include support.
I don't recall similar issue to be reported with AdAgency PRO. So it may be site specific issue.
Is it possible to try on different server?

HI, Rudolf.

AdAgency is installed on bookingsouthafrica.co.za? Thus it's used as ad server - is that correct?
On what site you want to display add?

On site bookingsouthafrica.co.za ads are displayed: i.prntscr.com/46fbf794368c473fb4888c854a05ffe7.png

Hi, Rudolf.

I'm sorry but could you be more specific? :)

What "yes" means? :)
And if atporterville.co.za is site with remote add... where it should be on your site?
Could you do a printscreen... along with URL bar.

I am on my end of my sanity - i have uninstalled the component twice including removing tables to start from scratch.

From a fresh install, the remote module does not work
From a fresh install, the embed code WORKS on the remote site

Twice i have done this and as soon as i start to touch the component it stops working.

First time i have deleted all the example data and start from scratch

Second time, i rename example data and start to remove the extra ones

Same result - nothing, but strange enough the impressions keeps on going up even though it does not display.

This cant be that difficult to get going unless i miss something that it staring in the face. I know you do not provide support if you do not buy the component, but this is very expensive component in Rand terms and if i am unable to get it going, i am not willing to take the chance on it.

I really love to test this, but i have gone through this a 100 times...

Hi, Rudolf.

I'll try to help you as much I can ;)
Now, please, do a print screen and mark where ad should appear on atporterville.co.za.
Make sure that module that displays that ad is displayed.
It may be that ad is not visible because module is not displayed.

Then I'll check what code is used there.

It may also be that ad is blocked by your AV program. So make sure that you AV doesn't block web page ads.
Or even better check that issue on another (few another) computers with different settings. Ask your friends or family to do that.
Then share results.
