Hello, we have a client with an online community with almost 500.000 users. We want to offer jomsocial as a solution to improve his community, but we need to know if jomsocial can handle that kind of community. If we convert each user to the jomsocial bd format, this will generate more than 30 millions of data rows (in user fields). Each user have 64 rows in the clients db. Also, this community has more than 500 to 1500 in special days concurrent users.

So our question is: jomsocial is able to use a normal mysql table for users information (custom fields?) or the only way is the actual implementation with user fields?

Hi,

I dont understand with bd format and custom user tables, can you ellaborate more? but anyway, you should import the users first, and then you create jomsoical custom field, the rest you should create the custom myslq code to import all user fields to jomsocial database.

thank you
