I have been given the task to upgrade a site using Joomla 1.5, JomSocial 2.0.2 to the latest version of both. From what I can understand there is no simple migration path, and thus I am going to do a fresh install of both Joomla and JomSocial.

My client however has about 400 users, with data in150 custom fields that needs to be retained and loaded into the new system. Is it possible to export from such an old version of JomSocial for import into to the latest version? If there is no export, is there a csv import in the latest version that I can use by manually creating a csv from the old system. The ability to import the custom field data is most important.

That is very old, the only possiblity upgrade this issue is upgrade your jomsocial version step by step, one by one.. from jomsocial version 2.x > 3.x. > 4.x
