Can you please let me know if JomSocial is Mobile Touch Responsive or not?

When viewing the two JomSocial demos at the links below I became aware that demo in the first link is mobile touch responsive but the second one is not.

DEMO 1:

The JomSocial pages in this demo can be resized by touch on mobile devices.

DEMO 2:
demo.jomsocial.com/index.php
The JomSocial pages in this demo cannot be resized by touch on mobile devices.


Can someone please explain to me why this is and how can JomSocial be made mobile touch responsive as in DEMO 1?

Those demos page are support with mobile device and responsive as well, please you use real mobile device to check it

By "Mobile Touch Responsive" I mean the ability to resize the content on the screen (enlarge/decrease the display of the page) using ones fingers on a mobile device.

AKA: Pinch to Zoom or Pinch and Zoom

it can be caused by the Joomla template, you can use another joomla template for which support with it

I've tested this on a couple of different sites online and noticed that while the Pinch to Zoom or Pinch and Zoom functionality worked for the rest of the site it didn't work on the JomSocial pages so that's why we were curious about this issue?

Well, that is simple issue, can be solved easily by adding this html code on your template :

<meta name="viewport" content="width=device-width, initial-scale=.5, maximum-scale=12.0, minimum-scale=.25, user-scalable=yes"/>
