Happy new year to everyone at Jomsocial; as I am sure their is big plans for Jomsocial we also have big plans. :)
What we have:
Currently we are running four servers; each server has its own purpose.
One Server (ServerA) is where all web hosting and web sites are served from and another server for the hosting of multiple other non related web sites(ServerN/A).
What we want:
A new server (ServerB) will handle storage for the videos, photos and FFMPEG. Is this possible? To have all resource intensive websites on a web server without FFMPEG. and when a video is uploaded to the web site, it uploads to ServerB and ServerB converts the video using FFMPEG and leaves it at ServerB. When the content of a video, photo etc is requested, ServerA goes to ServerB grabs the video and returns to ServerA and out it goes to the world. :)
