I am building a Jomsocial network and started it off based on a 3.2.1.5 version i had bought before.
Now i consider updating (and renewing) to get version 4 but i have made a few core customizations that i am not sure will be compatible or even doable in the latest version.
Do you offer a trial of Jomsocial or a money-back guarantee i can use in case the upgrade doesn't work for me?
On, we don't offer trial versions.
There is no option that you couldn't upgrade from 3.2.1.5 to latest version :)
You should use iJoomla Installer to do upgraded.
And it should rather run smooth.
But please note that if you've made any customizations for 3.2.1.5 - they will not work for 4.1.3
Also the best way to upgrade is to remove all JomSocial related plugins and modules before upgrade.

- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
