Been using JomSocial for a while now and looking to upgrade to the latest version with our next update (making sure software compatibility is all good). Anyway, we are drawing up plans and I'd like to ask about hashtags and a couple of group things before proceeding so we know if the update to Jomsocial will cover us or if we need to look at additional software as well as this update.
1. I've seen that the hashtag feature works in status updates and can be searched using the main activity stream filter. Can hashtags also be used in discussion titles within groups and in the comments of these discussions? If so, can these hashtags be searched for in the same way, using the activity filter?
2. Is there a way to add group categories to the main activity steam filter so the activity wall displays all public group content (and content to groups the user is a member of) from a specific category only?
3. Is there a way to display a notification in the main activity stream when new discussions are started in public groups or groups to which the user is a member (same as when a comment is posted on a group wall)? Can the same be done when new responses are added to discussions within these groups?
