I need to have following features (out of box without third party add-ons)

1. short urls for groups, members & events ( ex: domain.com/group-title)
2. groups need to have its own blogs & pages
3. invitations to contacts directly from email a/c(yahoo. gmail, etc)
4. Need to have control of posts showing on main page & group's "activity stream"
Ability to restrict posts on activity stream to specific members/group admins. It's very important to have control on spam & stupid posts.

I checked admin demo, I didn't see above features.. (let me know if I am wrong)..
Above features are very basic to social websites and they have on ning.( i have multiple networks there )

1. the only possibility URL for is like this www.yourdomain.com/groups/viewgroup/groupID-groupName
2. For blog you can install 3rd party like EasyBlog
3. Yes this is possible
4. You can do it as admin, admin can do everything :)

2. how about pages. I need group menu bar links to pages (just like in blogger/wordpress)
3. I didn't see this option. I already checked in admin demo a/c
hope you understand .. I want invitations sent to contacts from e-mail a/c ..(just like facebook)
And invitations need to be saved so that admin can resend again later (this feature is in Ning)
This feature is very critical for community to grow fast..
