I already have a site running with template and Jomsocial installed. Does the Socialize template work as a sub template that deploys only my Community (Jomsocial) page on my website? Also, I am building another website and considering Socialize as the primary template, does Socialize have a "quickstart" edition where Joomla installs with Socialize already configured? I realize the Jomsocial4 component would have to be uploaded separately.
Thank you for interesting in Socialize.
Its a full Joomla! template and works just like any other J! template. So it's not only limited to JomSocial pages.
Of course you may use it only on JS pages... but currently Joomla! has a bug in template assignment feature so only default template is displayed... so if you set Socialize as your default template, it will be displayed on all pages.
No, we don't offer quickstart packages. It's easy to install and configure (id comes with default settings) . In if you'll have nay questions or doubts - post on forum ;)
- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.
- Use the "Thank You" feature on any post that helped you
