Hello, we are just about to pull the trigger on buying jomsocial but we want to set it up so that it is working just like you guys have in the demo. Can you tell me exactly what plugins you used for that that we would need to buy in addition to jomsocial? Also, in the tabs for "friends, photos..." right under the main image we would like "Music" or "Audio". Can you tell me how we would accomplish that?
As for Music/Audio, JomSocial doesn't support audio files upload... but you may consider to purchase HWDMediaShare extension that has integration with JomSocial and allow to upload various media files. Then use their module to display user files in a module. For further details - please contact with HWDMediaShare developers.
- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.
- Use the "Thank You" feature on any post that helped you
