Quick search and magnifying glass are for searching friends. I thought I could search groups or hashtags, etc. Is there a way to make this search feature to be searching for everything not just friends? It took me forever to try to find out how to search hashtag under the filter. That was confusing. Also the filter has 'my friend and I'....I think it is supposed to say 'my friends and I.

Is the next version of jomsocial going to have video chat capabilities?

Thank you,

Nikki

Hi Nikki,

We have plan for it, which the quick search can search all jomsocial content, but we need more time effort for that so we pending the feature, I am not sure will continue or not.

but well, for search stream like hashtag, we wont change it, it will be still like this for now.. in version 4.1 we added keyword search on stream.

cheers!

Thank you for your help,

It would make sense to have the search feature simple and easy to search all # and general content like twitter and facebook do.

Charles
