When adding a photo for your avatar, when you upload from the screen (File Attached)

it will let you choose the file and shows its uploading but wont upload the photo.
Now if you upload the photo from the main profile page ( File attached- Screenshot2)

The photo uploads with no problem at all.
Does this have something to do with the file size? Or is there a setting somehwere etc?
The file size of the image is only 29kb.
