I am trying to understand if Jomsocial would be good for my project. Could you please advise me if I can use Jomsocial to create a social network for mentors and mentees. Basically we will have mentors and each mentor will have multiple mentees. At some point the mentees could become mentors as well and have their own mentees.
Could you please advise if I can do this with Jomsocial.

Hmm, you may alter JomSocial a bit to fit your needs.
You may have mentors and connect them as "friends" with mentees.
You will need help of developer to accomplish what you need. but it may be done.
- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.
