I want to know what hosting company and specifications you recommend.
I need to buy a cloud vps or a dedicated server or VPN?

On the basic plans I see that they dont offer the posibilty to edit php.ini

Right now im using HOSTGATOR for test purpouses. What other hosting companies do you recomend?
I was searching and I´ve found some that pay special atention to jomsocial

www.fastcomet.com/joomla-hosting
www.cloudaccess.net/php-settings.html

My community its about 2000 users and 200 user would use at the same time this web site.
Apart from jomsocial we plan to add virtuemart ecommerce.

Thanks in advance

Hi,

I suggest you pick the server provider from our partners here www.jomsocial.com/partners/hosting , and if you wanna use another server, just make sure the server is fit with jomsocial requirments. You can use whatever hosting package, as long you can edit the server configuration, and please dont use shared hosting :D

thank you
