So is it now possible to register in jomsocial as differnt user, with different right´s?
Means, want some of my users to pay as premiummembers, which are allowed to offer some sort of service,
with special rights. Other basic users are just able to watch that offers and contact that people,
but don´t have to pay for it.
That means, that I need a special functionaltiy in jomsocial, that let users decide in registration process which group they belong to.
Than they have of course to fill in different custom fields in registration.
I did it in the past with the plugin JSPT, look here:

Would be nice to have that right out of the box, so that I wouldn´t need that component anymore,
and just can do it with jomsocial alone.
All that additional update process in joomla is a nightmare to me, especially with cutomizations in it!
ACL will be supported in JomSocial 4.3.
As for now you should rather continue to use JSPT.
- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
