We currently use Yammer for our charity's internal comms. However, for various reasons we need to move away from it.
Is it possible for a summary email to be sent to people everyday which includes the day's posts - as is possible with Yammer. This is very much the way that most people will want to use it.
Is there any limit to the number of users?
Can I bulk upload users rather than enter them one at a time?
Is the fee a one-off or does it need to be renewed annually?

No, JomSocial will send notifications like Facebook - imminently after certain activity is published.
No, There is no limit for number of user. You may have as many users as your db can handle :)
You may use 3rd party extensions to bulk import users:

There is purchase fee and renewal fee. After purchase you get access to support and upgrades for 6 months. After that time you may decide if you want to renew and extend access to support and upgrades. It's up to you and you may renew at any time.

- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
