Before I sign up I just wanted to check on one feature.
I would like to be able to customize the profile configuration so that people who sign up to the Social Network can add web addresses to their profile - to link to other sites (e.g. their Strava profile page).
But I also want to be able to make this link more visible in the profile view page (i.e. on the right hand sidebar for example) rather than hidden under about me. Is that possible?
Yes, you can create a field to provide URL address. Then it will be displayed in profile, in About me tab:

Also, once URL was added to field you can easily display it anywhere in profile using a small code snippet.
JomSocial is very flexible and open source. If something is not possible out-of-the-box, could be done with little customization.
- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
