Hello, we are already jomsocial customers. We are looking at options for implementing a better mobile experience for our site visitors. We've tried using ijoomer, but it is just too buggy and the support is terrible and they haven't released anything compatible with jomsocial 4.x yet. We started looking at ibuildapp.com, but I don't really see any good examples of a jomsocial implementation.
Do you have any recommendations? Ideally we'd like tight knit integration with jomsocial's features. We'd also like an easy method for Video Chat and text chatting with image sharing. We're currently experimenting with avchat and jbolo, but would appreciate your input.
I replied in the community then i noticed your post here. The main reason i think that no one has done a Jomsocial app is because to utilize all the functionality, the development would be huge and from out perspective it isn't something we are looking at doing in the near future.
The question about chat is we are seeing a lot of users saying good things about coment chat

Thanks for the feedback Paul. It's a shame about ijoomer. They seemed so close. I have had some interactions with a few people there and they do claim to be working on a JS 4.x compatible update, but I'm not holding my breath.
I'll definitely take a look at cometchat. It looks interesting and it seems to combine chat and video into one platform so that's appealing. We've been experimenting with jbolo and avchat, so having one system replace those would be nice.
