Hello, it is interesting Joomsocial , I want to ask you a question. I manage a small social network implemented in phpFox with about 300 users, I would like to know is, what it would be possible to imprter only my users (login and password) because I can not ask them to re register.
I tested the demo, and I saw that it is not possible to post the file on the site , such as .zip , .pdf etc ... is this normal ? Will he modules ?
Another point , is that it is possible to create monthly mobile subscription for site users joomsocial ?
Maximum member . Do you think the site will be able to handle about 200 users connected at the same time , write status , like , comment etc ...?
Optional , do you have an Android application for joomsocial site?
The most important thing is my old users, if you have a module importantion , great , if you have a solution ?
Since dice year I realize social networks in phpFox , but I think joomsocial deserves to be tested , because I was surprised to see he has the operation area very well
You want to migrate user data from phpFox to Joomla! As far I know there is no migration script, but from time to time users ask about it on Joomla! forum:
forum.joomla.org/viewtopic.php?f=625&t=749772
So maybe someone tried that. Please, ask about it on Joomla! forum.
You may UPLOAD files in group discussions and announcements but not in post itself. So it will not appear on the stream but in side modules in group discussion. File library will be also available under special link in group.
You'll need 3rd party extension for that. "mobile subscription'... not sure what you mean, a kind of Android app? There are extensions for making subscriptions in JomSocial:

No problem :) JomSocial will handle even more than 200 users. All depends from your server it needs to be powerful enough as it will handle all scripts executing and parsing.
To be honest, you don't need a mobile app for using JomSocial as it's full responsive and available. but if you insist to have one then this one should fit your needs:

JomSocial is and extension for Joomla! so if you manage to import users to Joomla! then they will appear in JomSocial too. So you should rather ask/look for import script for Joomla! like I advised above.
Sure, give it a try - if you'll have more questions, I'll be happy to answer.
- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.
