JomSocial Expired

Hello, i am a user/admin of jomsocial 2.8.2 on a private community as building (from a complexe with about 400 inhabitants) private social network.

I would like to extend the use of this network to be used on other buildings around me, but i don't want to have all the subject mixed up into jomsocial.

Do you have any suggestions about it can be achieved with the new 4 version ? I am pretty itnerested to migrate from my 2.82 version to 4.

Thank you

Hi, Matthieu.

There is no way to set a kind of sub-systems in one Joomla!
It has user central system and there could be only ONE component of a kind in JomSocial... you just can't install second one of the same kind e.g to have two JomSocials on one Joomla!.

So you'll need to set separated systems for each community.

- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

- Use the "Thank You" feature on any post that helped you
