Could you advise if your platform has upload management facilties? We would like to upload pdf documents if needed or setup a group and have some files there to be uploaded and downloaded for the member who are in the group. Is that possible?
We also would like to have permission access for Users such as normal users, managers, directors? Possible?

Yes, JomSocial has capability to share files in group. Group could be prvate/moderated so only accepted users will be able to join it and download files.
Files are shared in discussions and announcements but there is direct link in group page to display all files.
As for now JomSocial doesn't support Joomla! ACL in full scope. There is group owner that has additional rights.
But you may introduce those features using 3rd party extension like:

- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.

- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
