Everyone is telling me to use buddypresss vs jomsocial but i like the jomsocial platform. I am not much of a computer guy but I want to know why I should go with joomla vs wordpress

Thanks for your question, it's a good one. Jomsocial is a very established social network with many advanced features and a very active development schedule. We are constantly improving and developing new features so the product evolves to meet current user demands and technology. In regards to the Joomla / Wordpress debate, that's a tough one and comes down to the type of site you are setting up. If it's a large scale bloging site then Wordpress may win. But if you are looking for functionality for a social network currently i think Joomla is the best solution

I uploaded everything and some of it worked at 1st. Now nothing works. Cant join groups, cant post to my page, cant open groups, cant click pics or videos, can't do anything.. everythinng gives me a 404 error. How do I use the 6 months of help? Just post in here and pray that someone answers?

I did under the "groups" section in tech support. No one has answered. just getting frustrated .. thank you for the response. I just assumed there would be someone on a support line
